Jar BuyBack Program
A major part of the Lax & Lux Candle mission is to create Eco-friendly products for our Tribe.
To help achieve this, we use recyclable glass jars & plastic lids for all of our 8oz and 16oz candles.
We decided to move this mission beyond the point of sale as many of our Tribe members were throwing their jars away after their last burn.
We wanted to develop a program that would allow our Tribe to return their jars to us and, in turn, allow us to recycle/reuse them. In November 2020, our Jar BuyBack program was born!
Tribe members can return their used Lax & Lux candle jars with the lid or Bougie Incense Cones tins for 150 LUX BUX, which can be redeemed for various rewards through our Tribe Rewards Program!
In order for jars/tins to be accepted:
- Must be Lax & Lux Candles jars/tins
- Must have lid too
- Damaged or Broken jars/lids/tins not acceptable
No need to clean/sanitize the jars/tins - we will do it!
Upon, acceptance, LUX BUX will be added to your account after receipt of jars/tins. LUX BUX can be redeemed for various rewards including money off your next order or a future order. LUX BUX never expire!
To return your jars/tins, email JarBuyBack@laxluxcandles.com with the number of jars/tins you are returning and a clear photo of the jars/tins. You will receive a response with next steps.
If you are local, during the vending season, you can bring your jars/tins to any of our in-person events, unless stated otherwise.
