Processing, Shipping, & Pick Up Policy

Lax & Lux Candles accepts orders 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We process orders Monday - Friday, except holidays and scheduled inventory days. 


LOCAL PICKUP is suspended unt further notice. All orders will be shipped at this time. (Updated 1/1/2023)

Processing

Orders are processed in the order in which they are received. Your order will be processed within 5-10 business days of the time you completed your order. Processing times may be longer during holidays and sales. A notice will be posted on this page if this is anticipated. Processing times may also include production time, but does not include shipping time. All orders are shipped via UPS from Baltimore, MD. We will choose the option with the fastest delivery guarantee.

Orders with different shipping and billing addresses are subject to review. The customer will be contacted, if necessary. Please note that this may delay processing and shipping times. 

Shipping

All products are carefully packaged and shipped in a packing peanuts filled box. Glass items are individually wrapped in bubble wrap. UPS shipping rates are based on the total weight of your order and your shipping address. Lax & Lux Candles does not determine shipping rates. All orders shipped via UPS 2 Day Air or Ground are expected to arrive within 1-5 business days after order is shipped. The use of these shipping options does not mean your order will ship within 1-5 days. You must account for processing time. You will receive a notification and tracking number when your order has shipped. 

Please note: Once your order is delivered to UPS, Lax & Lux Candles does not have control over how quickly your package is processed and delivered.

Please be sure you have entered the correct shipping address before placing your order. We are not responsible for packages delivered to incorrect addresses due to incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer. If you discover your error before your order has shipped, please contact us at info@laxluxcandles.com. We will be able to update the shipping address to ensure you receive your package.

If your package is returned to us as not deliverable or return to sender, you will be responsible for the costs associated with re-shipping your order.

Pick Up

LOCAL PICKUP is suspended until further notice. All orders will be shipped at this time. (Updated 1/1/2023)

Local Pick Up is available in Baltimore, MD. There is no fee associated with picking up your order. Our pick up day is typically Saturday. To choose the pick up option, select Pick up in the Delivery method section at checkout. When you select Pick up, you will choose the available location.

Please Note: If you would like to pick up your order, do not choose an accelerated checkout method. If you choose one of the following in the first step of the checkout process, then the pick up option will not be available to you:

  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • Amazon Pay
  • PayPal

You can checkout with Shop Pay and still have the pick up option available. You will receive a confirmation email once your pick up date and time is confirmed. The email will have all of the instructions you need to pick up your order. 

 Damaged Products

If your products arrive to you damaged, contact us via email (returns@laxluxcandles.com) within 48 hours of receiving your order and we will be more than happy to assist. Please include clear photos of the damaged product(s) and packaging to further assist us with processing your claim. You may need to submit a claim with UPS. 

Lost or Stolen Packages

Lax & Lux Candles is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. This includes packages that are marked as delivered, but never received. If you experience this with your package, contact us via email (returns@laxluxcandles.com) within 48 hours of receiving your delivery confirmation.  You may need to submit a claim with UPS.
